Earlier BTM Layout used to be considered an area on the outskirts of Bangalore City; there were less frequent buses to this area. Even auto drivers refused to enter the locality. But now, BTM Layout, also known as Kuvempu Nagar, has evolved not only in terms of transportation but also in infrastructure. Over the last few decades, it has seen new commercial buildings, shops, and offices opening every now and then and is now considered a part of the city.
Many might not know that BTM stands for Byrasandra Tavarekere Madiwala. It is one of the oldest localities in Bangalore City that was once remotely located. That was when BTM Layout was available to people whether it was for buying plots or building houses or renting out.
